Our History
Since our founding in 1944, we’ve proudly expanded our services to reach more communities and serve even more people like you. We deeply appreciate your continued support and are grateful for the growth we've experienced together over the years.
1944
Metamora State Bank firs opened their doors in Metamora Ohio. Originally owned by a husband and wife team.
1995
Our second branch was opened in Sylvania Ohio at the corner of Centennial Road and Slyvania-Metamora Road.
2001
The original Metamora State Bank branch was renovated. We also introduced online banking.
2014
The bank’s website was re-launched with a new design and improved functionality, optimized for mobile devices. The Sylvania banking Center was also remodeled.
2019
Our bank expanded further by opening a third branch on Dussel Drive in Maumee Ohio
2024
Metamora State Bank celebrated its 80th anniversary year!

Fulton County Fair 2026
Voted Best County Fair in Ohio! $5 Admission Children 15 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.

The 40th Annual Fall Festival is going to be happening October 17th and October 18th. There will be craft & farmer vendors, food trucks, and more! This event is free to the public.
